Frank Langella in Frost/Nixon
Oscar nominee Peter Morgan's acclaimed drama Frost/Nixon, starring Frank Langella as Richard Nixon and Michael Sheen as David Frost, will transfer to Broadway beginning on 31 March for a 20-week limited season. Opening night at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre has been set for 22 April. Frost/Nixon, directed by Donmar Warehouse artistic director Michael Grandage, recently transferred to the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End following a sold-out run at the Donmar; the London run will end on 3 February.

Frost/Nixon tackles the question: How did David Frost, a famous British talk-show host with a playboy reputation, elicit the apology that the rest of the world was waiting to hear from former President Richard Nixon? The fast-paced play shows the determination, conviction and cunning of two men as they square off in one of the most monumental political interviews of all time.

Langella (Richard Nixon) is a two-time Tony Award winner whose recent Broadway credits include Match, Fortune's Fool (Tony for Outstanding Featured Actor), Present Laughter and The Father (Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor). He also received the Best Featured Actor Tony for his role in Edward Albee's Seascape. Other notable New York stage appearances include Dracula, Cyrano, Design for Living, After the Fall and A Christmas Carol. His films include Superman Returns, Starting Out in the Evening and Good Night and Good Luck.

His other films include Dead Long Enough, The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, Kingdom of Heaven, Laws of Attraction, Bright Young Things, Underworld, The Four Feathers and Wilde.

Langella and Sheen have both received 2007 Best Actor Olivier Award nominations for their roles in Frost/Nixon, which was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Play. Additional casting for Broadway is underway for the 10 actors in the play.
