 Guys and Dolls stars Don Johnson and Samantha Janus

Samantha Janus is rejoining Guys and Dolls in the West End on 12 March. The actress previously starred as Miss Adelaide in the musical at the Piccadilly Theatre last October when she appeared opposite Patrick Swayze. This time her leading man is Don Johnson (as Nathan Detroit), who has extended his run in the show by three weeks to 31 March.
Janus, best known for starring in television’s Game On, Wild at Heart and Home Again, was last seen touring in Peter Hall’s production of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal. She also appeared in the West End production of Grease at the Dominion Theatre. In 1991, she represented Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest (finishing 10th).
[AD]Norman Bowman will also return to the show to star as Sky Masterson, a role that he has already played at the Piccadilly Theatre and has been playing on the national tour. Lisa Stokke continues as Sarah Brown.
Guys and Dolls currently features Jack Edwards as Nicely Nicely, Jo Servi as Arvide and Nick Cavaliere as Big Jule. The cast will also include Kate Alexander, Keisha Atwell, Vanessa Barmby, Chris Bennett, Verity Bentham, Louise Bowden, Matt Cole, Richard Costello, Simon Coulthard, Tom Dwyer, Catherine Greeney, Taylor James, Louise Madison, Eugene McCoy, Denise Pitter, Andrew Playfoot, Jamie Sampson, Spencer Stafford, Claire Taylor, Alain Terzoli, Dominic Watson, Ed White and Anna Woodside.
