Could Daniel Radcliffe defy the "neigh"-sayers and live up to the outrageous hype that’s been chasing Equus for months? That was the question on everyone’s lips at the show’s opening night at the Gielgud Theatre on 27 February. By the time the curtain fell, audience and critics were in firm agreement that he most certainly could. After that, it was but a gentle canter past the home stretch for drinks backstage, and a bridling down for Radcliffe and co-stars Joanna Christie, Richard Griffiths, Jenny Agutter and Will Kemp. The glitterati jockeyed for their chance to pay tribute to the bold young star and his estimable colleagues. Take a look!
