Oliver Gardner is the latest addition to the cast of Billy Elliot. The 12-year-old performer will rotate in the title role alongside Tom Holland, Tanner Pflueger, Fox Jackson-Keen and Brad Wilson.
Also joining the cast over the next month will be Connor Doyle and Jake Pratt, who will both play Billy's pal Michael and Fransesca Mango and Fleur Houdijk, who will both take on the role of Debbie.
Based on the popular movie of the same name, Billy Elliot features a score by Elton John and Lee Hall, direction by Stephen Daldry and choreography by Peter Darling. It currently plays at the Victoria Palace Theatre in the West End, as well as in Sydney, Australia and on Broadway.
The Broadway production of the musical was recently nominated for a 15 Tony Awards, which ties The Producers record.
