The West End production of 'Rock of Ages' will transfer to the Garrick Theatre.

The West End cast of Rock of Ages is packing up their leather jackets and moving to London’s Garrick Theatre beginning January 18, 2013. Featuring a book by Chris D’Arienzo and a score of classic ‘80s rock hits, the London production of Rock of Ages will leave its current home at the Shaftesbury Theatre on January 6.

The current London cast of Rock of Ages includes Ross Hunter as Drew, Natalie Andreou as Sherrie, Daniel Fletcher as Dennis Dupree and Simon Lipkin as Lonny. Set in Los Angeles in the ‘80s, Rock of Ages is the story of a Bourbon Room busboy (Hunter) with big dreams of becoming a rock star. Directed by Kristen Hanggi, the West End production originally opened at the Shaftesbury Theatre on September 27, 2011. Rock of Ages features hit '80s songs including "Nothin' But a Good Time," "Sister Christian," "The Final Countdown," "Any Way You Want It" and "Don't Stop Believin'."

In addition to Hunter, Andreou, Fletcher and Lipkin, Rock of Ages features Rohan Tickell, Rachel McFarlane, Jodie Jacobs, Sandy Mofatt, Nathan Amzi, Tim Driesen, Leanne Garretty and Selina Hamilton.

The Rock of Ages design team includes set designer Beowulf Boritt, lighting designer Jason Lyons and sound designer Peter Hylenski.
