The Victoria Palace saw nothing less than an ebullient celebration on 12 May, when the beloved Elton John musical Billy Elliot turned one year old. The trio of original boys who played the title character, James Lomas, George Maguire and Liam Mower, took the stage in tutus and shared the role in the night’s performance, alternating from scene to scene. Sir Elton himself was on hand, showing his rollicking spirit by sporting his own white tutu for the curtain call. Happy birthday, boys!
