Even witches need a little leisure time. With that in mind, Idina Menzel, the Tony Award-winning original star of Broadway's Wicked and the sole American in the West End version of the popular show, threw a private bash for the cast and crew of the much-anticipated new musical.  Co-hosting the exclusive party at the Sanderson Hotel was award-winning director Joe Mantello. With rehearsals in East London taking up most of the company's time, the fete must have been a welcome respite from all of the work. Wicked will begin performances on 7 September at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. It officially opens there on 27 September. Make sure you book a trip to the Emerald City!
