For two whole weeks, the hills were alive with the sound of... gargling. At least they were for the West End’s Maria, The Sound of Music star Connie Fisher, who has lately been unwell. No, it wasn’t a dog bite or a bee sting. The perky actress had previously sung the show through a bad cold in order not to let her many fans down, but she paid the price in vocal injuries. Now duly rested and repaired, the cast and audiences alike were thrilled to welcome Fisher back into the fold this week. Take a look at her backstage reunion with co-star Alexander Hanson.
