It was a big night in London. Big love, big hair, big stars... Broadway blockbuster Hairspray opened at the West End's Shaftesbury Theatre to much hoopla on 30 October. Stars Michael Ball, Mel Smith and newcomer Leanne Jones brought down the house at the theatre. After the rousing performance, the cast and numerous London luminaries headed to the Bloomsbury Ballroom for more big fun. It's true that you can't stop the beat, but then why would you want to?
