Brian Makiwane as Simba
Makiwane, who was born in South Africa and was involved in theatre there such as The Lion and the Lamb, was in the original cast of the Los Angeles production of The Lion King.
Ako Mitchell as Mufasa
Making his West End debut, Mitchell is also a award winning music producer and also produced a documentary which won first prize at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles.
James Simmons as Scar
Simmons has been involved in theatre all over England, including three years with the RSC, including performances in The Merchant of Venice, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Richard III. He has also been seen on TV in The Professionals, The Gentle Touch, Rumpole of the Bailey and much more.
