DADDY COOL
This show, featuring the music Boney M, is set in modern day London where a young man who lives for his music finds himself in the middle of a rivalry between East and West London crews.
Echoing the plot of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Daddy Cool is set in modern day London where Sunny finds himself in the middle of a rivalry between East and West London crews. When he meets and falls for the daughter of East End club owner Ma Baker, the hostility is fuelled, drawing out past secrets and bringing everyone's future into sharp focus. The show includes songs made famous by European disco legends Boney M, as well as some tunes from producer Frank Farian's other artists--most notably Milli Vanilli.
