STOMP
Stomp links a high-energy ensemble of percussionists, playing wildly on everything from dustbin lids to buckets, with exhilarating dance. From humble Brighton origins, it beat a path to London in 1994 and has drummed up success in the West End ever since. Get tickets here.
Stomp is a high-energy, percussive symphony, coupled with dance and played entirely on unconventional instruments like dustbin lids, buckets, brooms and sticks. It's about movement—of bodies, objects, sounds, even abstract ideas—made completely original through the use of everyday objects in non-traditional ways.
Back in the early 1990s, Stomp creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas were Brighton buskers. They toured the world with their rhythmic antics, and Stomp evolved, eventually landing full-force in downtown Manhattan, where it was a massive—well...hit. It went on to repeat that success in London and remains at the beating heart of the West End. Click the link to the right of the page to get tickets now.
