CHICAGO

The girls, guns, greed, glamour and glitz of prohibition-era Chicago come to London in this razzle-dazzle West End musical hit.
John Kander and Fred Ebb's clever musical exploration of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery—all those things that we hold dear to our hearts. Chicago follows the kiss-and-tell tale of married chorus girl Roxie Hart, who kills her lover as a career move. She lands in Cook County Jail and hires slick lawyer Billy Flynn, who invents her defense and turns Roxie into a celebrity to the dismay of rival jailbird Velma Kelly.

Chicago is a loving look back at vaudeville, a timely satire of the justice system, and a reminder of what great theatre can be. A smash hit in London and internationally, click the link to the right of this page to get tickets for the West End production of Chicago—the stage musical that wowed audiences years before the acclaimed film version made a killing at the Academy Awards.
