The classic musical returns to London, starring the people's favourites from ITV's reality casting show Grease is the Word, Danny Bayne and Susan McFadden. After spending a hopelessly devoted summer with new good girl in town Sandy Dumbrowski, too-cool Danny Zuko's world is thrown upside down when she appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. What follows is a slicked back celebration of growin' up, cruisin' with friends and goin' steady with Danny, Sandy, The T-Birds, The Pink Ladies and unforgettable songs from "You're The One That I Want" to "Summer Nights". Bayne's multi-faceted performance skills persuaded viewers of TV casting show Grease is the Word that the part of Danny Zuko should be his. A student at London's Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts prior to winning the role, Grease marks his debut in the West End.
Susan McFadden as Sandy Dumbrowski
McFadden won the public vote alongside Bayne in the final of TV casting show Grease is the Word, and as a result she now graces the West End stage for the first time. She has previously appeared as an actress in the TV mini-series Relative Strangers.
