Duncan James Joins Chicago as Billy Flynn From 2 July

Duncan James
Duncan James, former star of the hit boyband Blue, will make his stage debut starring as Billy Flynn in Chicago at the West End’s Cambridge Theatre on 2 July. James will take over the part from Maxwell Caulfield and stay with the show for a limited seven-week season until 18 August.

His appearance in the West End marks another creative departure for James since the demise of Blue, the band with which he enjoyed enormous commercial success from its inception in 2000 until 2005. Blue notched up 40 No. 1 singles worldwide, sold 13 million records and undertook three sell-out tours as well as winning two Brit Awards and two MTV Awards. In the last two years, James has had a hit solo single with “I Believe in My Heart” and become known to TV audiences as one of the stars of Dancing on Ice, also participating in its spin-off tour.
