Duncan James in Chicago

James’ appearance in the West End marks another creative departure for the performer since the demise of Blue, the band with which he enjoyed enormous commercial success from its inception in 2000 until 2005. Blue notched up 40 number one singles worldwide, sold 13 million records and undertook three sell-out tours as well as winning two Brit Awards and two MTV Awards. In the last two years, James has had a hit solo single with “I Believe in My Heart” and become known to TV audiences as one of the stars of Dancing on Ice, also participating in its spin-off tour.

He stars alongside Josefina Gabrielle as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Matthew Lloyd Davies as Amos Hart and Susie McKenna as Mama Morton.
