Kelly Osbourne to Play Mama Morton in Chicago from 10 September

Kelly Osbourne as Matron 'Mama' Morton
Kelly Osbourne is to make her West End stage debut in the London production of Chicago, taking over the role of Mama Morton from 10 September for a seven-week run.

Osbourne is, of course, the daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon. She skyrocketed to international notoreity on the family's Emmy Award winning reality TV show The Osbournes, which debuted on MTV in 2002. Since then, she has made forays into various media, scoring a hit single with her cover version of Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach", releasing an album "Shut Up", and enjoying a U.K. No. 1 hit with "Changes", a duet with her father. She has appeared on TV in Project Catwalk on Sky1, the ITV2 documentary Turning Japanese and ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here…NOW!.

Chicago
follows the kiss-and-tell tale of married chorus girl Roxie Hart, who kills her lover as a career move. She lands in Cook County Jail and hires slick lawyer Billy Flynn, who invents her defense and turns Roxie into a celebrity to the dismay of rival jailbird Velma Kelly. It is currently playing at the West End's Cambridge Theatre.
