Ice Queen Suzanne Shaw Returns to the West End in Chicago


Suzanne Shaw as Roxie Hart
Suzanne Shaw, who recently won the television series Dancing on Ice, will star as Roxie Hart in the West End production of Chicago. She begins performances at the Cambridge Theatre on June 2.

Shaw’s theatre credits include West End and national tour productions of Summer Holiday, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), Snow White (Snow White) and The Rocky Horror Show (Janet). Her television credits include The Bill, City Central and Holby City. As a member of the music group Hear’Say, the first winners of the popular television competition Popstars, Shaw has had a number of hit singles, including “Pure and Simple” and “The Way To Your Love.”

Chicago currently stars Birgitte Hjort Sørensen as Roxie Hart, Rachel McDowall as Velma Kelly, Terence Maynard as Billy Flynn, Paul Rider as Amos Hart and Claudia Shear as Mama Morton.

Shaw’s limited engagement in the musical will end on July 12.
