Harry Potter’s David Bradley Returns to London Stage with The Quiz

David Bradley, the veteran stage actor who plays Argus Filch in the
Harry Potter films, is bringing his one-man play,
The Quiz, to the Trafalgar Studios on the West End. Richard Crane's play, directed by David Giles, opens June 17 for a limited run through June 28 in the Trafalgar's small studio space.
The show casts the wiry performer as a Dostoevsky-obsessed actor who may or may not be getting somewhat carried away with his longtime desire to die on stage.
Bradley is a stage regular in London, where he won a 1991 Olivier Award for his performance as the Fool in a National Theatre revival of
King Lear; he was nominated again two years ago for his work in Nicholas Hytner's National production of
Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2. He is expected to return to the West End toward the end of the year in the director Rupert Goold's revival of Harold Pinter's
No Man's Land, opposite TV star David Walliams (
Little Britain) and Bradley's
Harry Potter colleague, Michael Gambon.
